Map Legend

The Drop Zone. This is where you start. There aren't supposed to be any aliens here, but that is many times NOT the case. At any rate, marines should move out from this area as soon as they land. This is the location of the hive. The queen is usually here with 20 or 30 drones and a number of face huggers. This is a very dangerous place to be, however, it should be the steadfast marines' primary target. Once the queen and her eggs have been destroyed, further attacks by face huggers are unlikely.
These flashing markers indicate access points to the underground maintenance tunnels. Aliens often wait at the bottom of these access points for unsuspecting marines to "drop in". The tunnels, needless to say, are infested with Xenomorph LV-426B-1A creatures.
NOTE: There are other access points to these maintenance tunnels. I wasn't able to locate them all before I EVACed.
Caution: these markers indicate overhead openings in the ventilation system. Aliens frequently drop from these openings if you pass underneath them. Be careful in these areas!
NOTE: There are other openings in the ventilation system, but these appear to be the most active.

I obtained this information at great personal risk, and was nearly killed trying to get it safely back to the AGS. Use it wisely, and it will serve you well.
