In this photo, Somatic and I land in the Drop Zone of Space Station Zeta4 to find the queen and a single guard drone hovering over the remains of a fireteam that had launched into there just minutes before we arrived. Somatic made short work of destroying the guard drone while I pumped some hot metal in to "her supreme ugliness". The queen made a hasty retreat when her lone guard bought the farm.

The queen jumped out of the ventilation system and surprised our entire fireteam here, which consisted of CrewChief, Somatic, Dragoon (from EMC group) and Rogue (that's me). We found it quite surprising that the queen would attack an entire fireteam solo. This was obviously NOT the case, which is apparent from the next snapshot.

Chronic (from Iron Brigade) runs into the room with 4 drones hot on his tail. It turns out they weren't actually chasing him, per se, but were running to aid their queen in her battle against our AK strike force.

Stinger (also from EMC), arrives almost right behind his fireteam partner Chronic, to aid in our skirmish. Because of the close quarters and the proximity of our marine comrades, most of us were using either shotguns or sidearms at this stage, limiting our individual effectiveness, but nonetheless making us a considerable force.

I took this shot right after the queen made her escape back into the overhead ventilation duct, leaving her remaining 3 guards to distract us while she retreated to her hive, probably to recuperate and gather reinforcements for her next attack on us.

The queen was indeed preparing another attack, but we caught her slightly off-guard while she was readying her forces on a platform near the hive. In this photo, Somatic, Stinger and Rogue (that's me again :)) are in attack formation, while our other strike group is about to enter the door behind the queen, a tactic that totally throws off their assault and enables us to kill her and a number of her guards, all at once. Ha Ha Ha!!!

This snapshot was taken moments before the queen and her little group were annihilated by our combined strike teams. You can see CrewChief, Somatic and Stinger, while Dragoon and Chronic are out of the picture to my right. The drone about to attack me was exterminated by Chronic and Dragoon, who saw that I was somewhat pre-occupied. ;)
