The Drop Zone. You may start anywhere in this large outdoor area. Marines should move out from this area as soon as they land. There are three main entrances, though the door to the bar is likely to be locked. You should enter through either the front door in the north area of the drop zone, or use the warehouse door in the SE area. |

This is the location of the hive. The queen is usually here with a lot of drones and face huggers. There are so many entrances to the hive area, it is difficult to defend all of them, so you had best move swiftly and watch your rear when you are in this area. |

Caution: these markers indicate overhead openings in the ventilation system. Aliens frequently drop from these openings if you pass underneath them. Be careful in these areas! |

These markers indicate the location of lifts which facilitate access to the many levels of the terraforming facility. Aliens very frequently attack in these tight spaces. |
| We have not heard from the colonists on LV426B in quite some time. The original ship containing the xenomorph eggs is located only a short way away from the terraform facility, so it is possible that the colonists have made contact with that ship and brought the infestation here upon themselves. Our records indicate that 70 families were stationed at this colony, so you can expect at least 140 to 150 aliens to be crawling through the place.
